Craig Sommerville

Craig is Chief Financial Officer at Pacific Legal and is responsible for the financial management and commercial oversight of the business.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and trained with a large accountancy firm. He has more than 20 years’ experience in financial and commercial roles across the insurance, utilities and legal sectors.

Throughout his career, Craig has developed extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, business planning, cash-flow management and commercial decision-making. He has worked with management teams to establish appropriate financial controls, assess performance and support the sustainable development of businesses operating in regulated and professional-service environments.

At Pacific Legal, Craig oversees the firm’s financial planning, reporting and cash management. He works closely with the directors and operational teams to ensure that financial decisions support the effective delivery of the firm’s consumer-redress services.

His role also includes monitoring the financial performance of different workstreams, assisting with forecasts and ensuring that the business has the financial information required to make informed strategic decisions.

Craig brings a structured and commercially focused approach to Pacific Legal’s management team, helping the business maintain appropriate financial oversight as its services and caseload develop.
